Your unforgettable day begins early with a self-drive check-in at 7:00 AM in Peach Springs, AZ (about 1 hour 20 minutes from Williams or 1 hour 40 minutes from Flagstaff). We recommend arriving the night before, and we’re pleased to offer exclusive discounted lodging for your pre- or post-trip stay. Directions and check-in details will be provided with your confirmation.
From Peach Springs, you’ll travel by vehicle down the historic rugged trail that winds into the depths of the canyon. At the base, your professional river guides will welcome you to the Colorado River for a 40-mile motorized whitewater rafting journey featuring moderate rapids rated up to Class 3.5 on the North American scale.
As the canyon walls rise dramatically around you, your guides will take you through a thrilling sequence of rapids interspersed with calm stretches of river. Along the way, you’ll visit Travertine Falls, a short 5-10 minute walk to a unique natural spring waterfall, and stop at pristine sandy beaches for relaxation, swimming, and photo opportunities.
A deli-style lunch is served riverside, with soft drinks, water, cookies, and snacks provided throughout the day (vegetarian options available on request). Dry bags are supplied for your day pack, cameras, and extra clothing. Please note: minimum age requirement is 8 years old.
At the conclusion of your rafting adventure, you’ll enjoy a short scenic helicopter flight lifting you from the Colorado River to the canyon rim. From there, transportation will be waiting to return you to Peach Springs, with arrival around 6:30 PM.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to the original trip date will forfeit $75 per person and the remainder of the total amount paid will be refunded. Cancellations received within 29 to 1 day prior to the trip date and/or no shows will forfeit the total amount paid.
Date Changes:
After reserving the trip, rafters may change their trip date one time by paying an additional $40 per person date change fee up to 2 days prior to the trip date. Date change requests received within 2 days of the trip date will be treated as cancellations and will forfeit the total amount paid.
We HIGHLY recommend you purchase a separate travel insurance policy which will cover you if you need to cancel for medical emergencies, family illness/death, or work related cancellation. We can assist in obtaining travel insurance for you at approx $25-$49 additional per person. This policy will cover all costs if you need to cancel the trip for the allowable reasons. If you are interested, let us know and we will discuss your options and costs.
Due to the unforeseen nature of adventure travel, we highly recommend purchasing a separate trip insurance policy. A policy will refund your costs if you need to cancel the trip for medical emergencies, family illness/death, work related cancellation or trip interruption. The policy also has great features such as medical evacuation and other medical related benefits NOT covered by most individual health plans. We can assist in obtaining travel insurance.
