The U.S. Naval Command College as part of the U.S. Naval War College International Programs visited Sedona on a Field Studies Program visit. The mission for this portion of the trip was to familiarize the 55 senior naval officers from 52 countries with the unique cultural, geographical, and geological aspects of this region in the United States, and to let them learn about the history and preservation, past, present and future of the area. Cobalt Escapes and John Sagos in specific did an outstanding job at helping us meet that mission. Mr. Sagos went above and beyond all expectations, and ensured that all involved had a positive and memorable experience. All of the comments that I have received from the group of officers since the trip have been extremely positive, and I hope that we can work with Mr. Sagos and Cobalt Escapes to plan and execute next year’s trip to the Southwest.

We finally made it back to Texas after our most exciting and wonderful tour. I just can’t tell you how much we appreciate everything you did for us. The restaurant had delicious food and Jake was so educated and so knowledgeable…We learned so much! And you were right about the helicopter tour, it was AMAZING…….. I took some really awesome pictures. Family members are already asking if I took them…..lol…. Anyway, we are already looking forward to a rafting trip or mule ride down the canyon. Thank you so much for your assistance! The rafting trip was awesome!!! That water was COLD!! Lol! But with the temps hovering over 100 degrees, as you said, it was refreshing….& the dry time was quick! We saw a lot of amazing sites, & our rafting guide, George, was awesome! If we hooted & hollered enough through some of the rapids, he’d turn it around & go through it again! Lol! An “absolute blast!” We will be coming back again, as there was a lot more we wanted to see, but our time was somewhat limited this trip. I will definitely keep your email in my favorites!
