Enjoy a full day traveling to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in a luxury 4×4 custom touring coach.
The trip begins ONLY from Williams, AZ (9:00AM pickup). 2o minute drive from Flagstaff or 50 minute drive from any of the South Rim area hotels and lodges.
Your trip includes a drive along historic Route 66 and the Hualapai Indian Reservation with a scenic drive into the Grand Canyon descending 4000 feet down to the Colorado River along a scenic dirt road (the road is a relatively mild/moderate dirt road and is not extreme). The landscape and vegetation changes as you descend in elevation. You will have time to enjoy the natural beauty along the banks of the river.
A picnic lunch is served at the bottom of the canyon along the banks of the Colorado River. You have a choice of sandwiches (Turkey, Roast Beef or Ham on wheat bread) or a Garden Salad with or without Sliced Grilled Chicken. Please indicate the lunch order in the comment section of the booking. All condiments are served on the side.
We encourage everyone to bring their swimsuits to enjoy the Colorado River. Temperatures at the bottom are ALWAYS 20 degrees warmer then at the top of the canyon. Water is cool and very refreshing!
Please note, there is no rafting included. The weather at the bottom of the canyon is always 20 degrees warmer than at the top so this tour is ideal in all seasons.

There is a 7 day cancellation policy on this booking. You can cancel prior to 7 days in advance of the booking and receive a refund. Please contact us via email at contact@cobaltescapes.com to cancel/modify your reservation. You can also contact us directly at +1 928-649-3090 and speak with our reservations department. If you cancel within 7 days of activity you will forfeit the full amount paid.
Due to the unforeseen nature of adventure travel, we highly recommend purchasing a separate trip insurance policy. A policy will refund your costs if you need to cancel the trip for medical emergencies, family illness/death, work related cancellation or trip interruption. The policy also has great features such as medical evacuation and other medical related benefits NOT covered by most individual health plans. We can assist in obtaining travel insurance.
